When to apply to a Canadian university
Approach the university of your choice before the selection process to ensure you have the required prerequisites for entry. Consider writing to the faculty head, if you have not yet identified a potential supervisor.
There is no need to apply to the university before applying for the Oxford-Canada scholarship. Most Canadian universities will only open applications after the scholarship applications have closed.
Check with the university when their applications period will close.
Oxford-Canada scholars are selected based on:
- academic excellence
- leadership potential, as demonstrated through extra-curricular involvement
Selection of Oxford-Canada Scholars is made without regard to gender, gender identity, marital status, sexual orientation, race, ethnic origin, colour, religion, social background, caste, or disability.
